We Believe…

We believe Jesus Christ is the Lord over everything, including Jackson, KY. We are a group followers of Jesus, gathered along with our Christian families. Every Sunday, we gather to celebrate Jesus’s resurrection and hear His word. Throughout the week, we carry His standard into every situation. Our ranks include wives, mothers, husbands, fathers, employees, business owners, and neighbors—all dedicated to a mission-focused life. We aim to live our lives to Jesus, helping and sharing the gospel with those around us. Our gathering is more than a weekly event; it is the heartbeat of our endeavor to embody the Gospel in our everyday interactions, demonstrating the transformative power of Christ’s love and kingship in our community and beyond.

The Christian Faith

Many churches rightly focus on personal faith—after all, a personal relationship with Jesus is essential. But who is Jesus and what has He done for us? In steps the “Christian Faith”, and how we may know the Lord and Savior in whom we trust.

Leadership

The Lord Jesus Christ reigns as King of kings at the right hand of the Father, and supremely as head of the Church. He establishes his rule in the Church through the written word, the Scriptures. As such, we recognize the authority of the Scriptures and the offices of Pastor/Elder and Deacon.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”– Phil. 4:8

It’s hard to believe I’ve known of FBC Jackson for almost a decade, being a member for the past 5 years. The church has undergone significant changes in this time, welcoming several new young families recently. Throughout it all, they’ve remained humble and deeply committed to the Word of God.
